Subject: Flu. Arm still bad. No job. No jump!

About a month ago I came down with a really nasty bout of flu. I'm only just getting over it now so I haven't been able to do anything much. My arm, which I injured the week before leaving New Zealand, is still not right. It's much better than it was (I don't scream when I put on my coat anymore) but it's nowhere near good enough for jumping. Because of the flu I haven't been able to do much about getting a job sorted out, so money is a problem now as well! Because of all this I haven't even been to a Drop Zone here in the UK as yet. As I don't know where I'll be living once I do get a job sorted I have no idea where I'll end up jumping.

I have had my first job interview and I'm waiting to hear if I got through to the second round of interviews. That was for a job in Sheffield. Next week I've got an interview in Leeds as well as a preliminary telephone interview for a job in Exeter, so things are starting to move a bit.

I think that now I'm almost over the flu I'm going to see about going to a physiotherapist to see if there is anything I can do to get my arm moving better.

Thanks to everyone who have left messages in the guest book or sent me emails. I hope it won't be too long before I've got some skydiving news to put up here.

Cheers, Ian.
